Five professionally directed Main Stage theater productions are produced each season at the Sands Theater Center.
- Stage II offers challenging theater experiences, from contemporary to classics, in the intimate surroundings of the black box theater.
- Storybook Theater Company incorporates youth theater, school tours, summer drama camps, and theater education for all ages. Storybook educators design and conduct creative drama projects to meet specific needs such as oral language development, abuse recognition programs, and the development of social skill, - often in partnership with area schools, community resource agencies, and other arts organizations.
- The Touring Company performs for area retirement communities, health care centers, and civic clubs offering a variety of musical programs.
- The Sands Theater Center also hosts the DeLand Little Symphony, a community orchestra that presents two concerts each season on the Main Stage, as well as performances throughout the community during the year.
