The focus of the museum is to present the history of the Halifax area with artifacts from early plantations and pioneer families as well as an extensive photographic and postcard collection and beach auto racing memorabilia. It also features a research facility with books, old city directories and phone books, documents, and maps.
Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
